Viet Nam, Tuberculosis, Viet Nam National Lung Hospital (NTP)This program has the following goals: By 2020 reduce the TB morality rate to less than 10 deaths per 100,000 population. By 2020 reduce the TB prevalence rate in the community to 131 cases per 100,000 population. Keep MDR TB prevalence under 5% in new patients. The objectives of this program are: Ensure good health information and M&E in support of NTP management and policy development. Increase TB case detection by intensified and active case finding in risk groups, universal access to high quality services and linking with non NTP public and private providers. Scale-up access to diagnosis and treatment of MDR and XDR TB

Viet Nam, Tuberculosis, Viet Nam National Lung Hospital (NTP)This program has the following goals: Find and treat all TB cases to decrease transmission. Find and treat those who are infected with TB to prevent progression to active disease. The objectives of this program are: A 50 percent reduction of the incidence of TB by 2026 compared to 2018. A 75 percent reduction in TB mortality in 2026 compared to 2018 (<4 people per 100,000). Maintain the proportion of MDR-TB among newly diagnosed TB patients below 5 percent

Viet Nam, Tuberculosis, Viet Nam National Lung Hospital (NTP)This program has the following goals: By 2020 reduce the TB prevalence rate in the community to 131 cases per 100,000 population. By 2020 reduce the TB morality rate to less than 10 deaths per 100,000 population. Keep MDR TB prevalence under 5% in new patients. The objectives of this program are: Ensure universal access to high quality diagnosis and treatment services, intensified and active case finding in risk groups and under-served populations, linking with non NTP public and private providers and community ownership. Provide routine diagnosis and effective treatment of LTBI for vulnerable and recently infected individuals. Scale-up access to diagnosis and treatment of MDR and XDR TB, making optimal use of new tools, drugs and regimens, and patient support. Ensure availability of up-to-date epidemiological information and nation-wide real-time program implementation and performance data in support of NTP management and policy development
