47045-TZA-T-MOF-4 The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Tanzania (United Republic), Tuberculosis, Ministry of Finance of the United Republic of Tanzania (MoF)This program has the following goals: To reduce burden and suffering from Tuberculosis and Leprosy diseases in Tanzania by 2025: -50% reduction in tuberculosis incidence rate (compared to 2015-(306 TB incidence rate per 100,000 population) -75% reduction in the number of tuberculosis deaths (compared to 2015-(58,000 deaths(both HIV negative and HIV positive TB cases)). The objectives of this program are: To increase TB treatment coverage from 53 percent in 2018 to 90 percent in 2025 by innovatively addressing barriers to access, utilization, and the needs of the key and vulnerable populations for TB care and prevention services. To expand access to quality TB diagnostic services, including the adoption of new diagnostic technologies. To maintain the proportion of children with TB among the notified cases at 15 percent and to increase the ratio of ages at '0-4':5-14 years from 1.3 in 2019 to 1.5 by 2025,. To increase RR/MDR-TB cases detected and enrolled for treatment from 54 to 90 percent of the estimated TB cases among the notified by 2025.. To Strengthen management of co-morbidities including collaborative TB/HIV activities, and Prevention of TB for persons at high risks.. To Enhance Multi-Sectoral Collaboration and Action for increased, coordinated and accelerated response towards ending TB by 2025.. To ensure availability of supportive systems and strengthened program management and coordination for the Implementation of TB and Leprosy services by 2025. To implement evidence-based interventions and decision making through institutionalized efficient Monitoring and Evaluation system and coordination of research by 2025. To increase MDR TB cases detected and enrolled for treatment from 17% of the estimated total cases among those notified to 84% by 2020 by scaling up new diagnostic technologies and decentralizing MDR TB services. To expand TB/HIV collaborative activities by ensuring that all TB patients are tested for HIV and those who test HIV positive are put on ART promptly and managed. To establish the magnitude of TB and increase case notification rate within the mining sector by 2020.
