<narrative xml:lang="en">Stop TB and AIDS through RRTTPR 2024-2026 (STAR 2024-26) - Thailand (01-Jan-2024-31-Dec-2026)</narrative> Thailand, TB/HIV, World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WV Thailand)This program has the following goals: To end AIDS by reducing 6,600 new infections and 12,115 AIDS-related deaths in 2020 to 2,700 cases and 6,600, by 2026. To further advance to end TB and approach the pre-Elimination phase by reducing TB incidence from 143 per 100,000 in 2021 to 129 per 100,000 in 2026. To develop a fully integrated nationwide system of health services, encompassing HIV, HCV and TB, better suited to the needs of key populations and vulnerable people and enabling Thailand to reach its intended goals of eliminating those three diseases by 2030.. The objectives of this program are: To develop people-centered, community-based integrated services offering HIV, TB, STI, HCV, SRH, mental health, and social support to those most at risk or most vulnerable: MSM, MSW, TG, FSW, PWID, PWUD, migrants, prisoners, youth and elderly, urban poor who are at risk of TB. To strengthen communities for community-led monitoring, conduct community-led research and data use for advocacy and establish CBOs learning network and to institutionalize the capacity building and certification process of CBOs, foster community / government / private partnerships and enlist private facilities for both HIV and TB services. To identify key barriers and facilitating factors to access health services by conducting formative research / assessments to inform intervention for human rights, genders and S&D. To prevent new HIV infections and reduce number of PLHIV deaths by rapidly scaling up PrEP services, removing PrEP service provision barriers due to law and regulations, placing 116,000 PLHIV who have detectable viral load on effective ART, and ensuring early diagnosis by national expansion of HIV self-test, linkage to confirmatory test and same-day ART, promoting treatment adherence to reach durable viral load suppression.. To expand molecular diagnostic techniques for TB and access to curable TB treatment as well as to intensify screening of close contacts of index cases and other risk groups and KVPs, while ensuring universal access to quality diagnosis and treatment as to approach the 90-90-90 TB targets (reach 90% of people with TB, and KVP, and achieve 90% treatment success) and zero transmission. To screen for TBI, within the WHO-recommended target groups, 80% of the eligible individuals, testing 80% of them and achieving treatment completion of 80% of those starting TPT. To focus intensive efforts on people who inject drugs for harm reduction including HIV prevention, HIV treatment, HCV cure, treatment for addiction-related issues and social and legal support and to address the growing number of young people who use drugs, especially for chemsex use among MSM. To focus special attention on migrants to decrease the burden of TB, bilateral collaboration for cross-border referral system and other related issues, as well as improvement of health insurance systems to ensure access to health services including TB/HUV/HCV/STIs.. To focus special attention on prisoners to decrease the burden of TB, the risk of HIV acquisition in prison settings and the continuity of ART on release from prison. To mobilize and increase domestic funding at all level to support for community efforts to end HIV, TB and related diseases.
