47045-SWZ-H-NERCHA-1 The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria <narrative xml:lang="en">Reduction of HIV in Swaziland - Eswatini (01-Oct-2015-30-Sep-2018)</narrative> Eswatini, HIV, National Emergency Response Council on HIV and AIDS (NERCHA)This program has the following goals: Ensuring adequate health systems to support the attainment of health service targets, especially relating to HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria. Halt the spread of HIV and reverse its impact in Swazi society. The objectives of this program are: HIV - 50% reduction of new HIV infections among adults by 2015. HIV - 90% reduction of new HIV infections among infants aged 18 - 24 months born to HIV positive mothers by 2015. HIV - alleviate the socio-economic impacts of HIV and AIDS among vulnerable groups and across the population in general. HIV - avert 15% deaths amongst PLHIV and in particular those with TB/HIV co-infection. HIV - improve efficiency and effectiveness of the national response. HIV - reduction of proportion of young people 15 - 24 who are living with HIV from 6% to 2% for men and from 23% to 10% for women by 2018 respectively. HSS - to build capacity of human resources for health with a focus on supply chain management, community health services and health information systems. HSS - to implement the computerised Client Management Information System (CMIS), provide infrastucture and equipment to link the different sources of information and to build capacity for analysis and use of health information. HSS - to improve the health products procurement and supply chain management systems, and monitoring of rational use of health products in the country.
