This Program will provide the necessary intensification of integrated antimalarial measures to achieve a stable endpoint of antimalarial efforts and prevent an explosive and calamitous resurgence of malaria in the country. It will aim to consolidate efforts to reduce the malaria burden in STP through the continuation of current antimalarial efforts and further institutional strengthening, followed by intensified surveillance and diversified interventions, and finally leading to the elimination of malaria transmission in STP. Its goal is to reduce the burden of malaria in STP and move towards elimination of the disease in the country. The Program will target the general public; pregnant women; and children under five. This is a consolidated Round 7 and Round 4 Rolling continuation Channel process (RCC) malaria grant.
