(IH HQ)This program has the following goals: Decrease malaria related morbidity to reach a level of pre-elimination by 2018. Decrease malaria related mortality by 75% by 2018. The objectives of this program are: At least 80% of the population sleeps under an LLIN. Control 100% of epidemics and emergency situations within 2 weeks of detection. Diagnose at least 95% of suspected malaria cases with rapid diagnostics tests (RDTs) or microscopy. Protect at least 80% of pregnant women with the intermittent preventive treatment (IPTp) using SP in line with national guidelines.
