<narrative xml:lang="en">Strengthening Nicaragua through prevention and health care to contain the HIV and TB epidemics within a sustainable response - Nicaragua (01-Jan-2022-31-Dec-2024)</narrative> Nicaragua, TB/HIV, World Vision International (WVI Nicaragua)This program has the following goals: Fortalecer las intervenciones de promoción, prevención, atención y seguimiento dirigidas a poblaciones claves y vulnerables en áreas geográficas con mayor carga de TB y VIH a través de una respuesta articulada entre los distintos sectores que contribuya a la reducción de nuevas infecciones y la mortalidad, desde un enfoque de género, equidad, derechos humanos, etnicidad y no discriminación con miras a la sostenibilidad durante el período 2022 - 2024 / Strengthen the promotion, prevention, care and follow-up interventions aimed at key and vulnerable populations in geographic areas with the highest burden of TB and HIV through an articulated response between the different sectors that contributes to the reduction of new infections and mortality, from a focus on gender, equity, human rights, ethnicity and non-discrimination with a view to sustainability during the period 2022 - 2024. The objectives of this program are: Consolidar el liderazgo de las entidades rectoras y de gobernanza para TB y VIH a nivel nacional y local para garantizar una respuesta multisectorial eficaz, con la participación activa de los diferentes sectores. / Consolidate the leadership of the governing and governance entities for TB and HIV at the national and local levels to guarantee an effective multisectoral response, with the active participation of the different sectors.. Fortalecer las intervenciones de promoción y prevención a través de la educación en salud sexual y reproductiva, para la adopción de comportamientos saludables, reducción de nuevas infecciones TB y VIH, transmisión materno-infantil, profilaxis post exposición dirigidas a la población clave y vulnerable. / Strengthen promotion and prevention interventions through education on sexual and reproductive health, for the adoption of healthy behaviors, reduction of new TB and HIV infections, mother-to-child transmission, post-exposure prophylaxis aimed at key and vulnerable populations.. Garantizar diagnóstico temprano, la atención integral centrada en la persona, tratamiento oportuno y la adherencia de TB y VIH con énfasis en población clave y vulnerable, en ambientes institucionales públicos, privados y comunitarios sin discriminación. / Guarantee early diagnosis, comprehensive person-centered care, timely treatment, and adherence to TB and HIV with emphasis on key and vulnerable populations, in public, private and community institutional settings without discrimination.. Robustecer el sistema de información a fin de contar con datos actualizados de forma oportuna que mejore la eficacia y efectividad de las intervenciones y promuevan una gestión responsable para la información estratégica sobre la epidemia de TB y VIH. / Strengthen the information system in order to have updated data in a timely manner that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of interventions and promotes responsible management of strategic information on the TB and HIV epidemic.
