Malawi, TB/HIV, World Vision Malawi (WVI)This program has the following goals: Reduce TB incidence to 102/100000 by 2025. Reduce TB mortality to 18/100,000 pop by 2025. The goal of the 2020-2025 HIV and AIDS program is to contribute towards ending HIV and AIDS as a public health threat in Malawi by 2030. The objectives of this program are: Increase TB treatment coverage for drug susceptible TB to 90% (2025). 99% of co-infected TB/HIV patients receive ART by end of 2024. The TB case notification through PPM increase to 30% by 2025. Reduce new HIV infections from 33,000 in 2019 to 11,000 in 2025.. Reduce HIV and AIDS related morbidity and mortality from 68/100,000 population in 2019 to 63/100,000 population in 2024. Reach 95-95-95 treatment targets by December 2023. Improve the quality of TB and HIV services.. Build resilient health and social welfare systems for effectively responding to the TB and HIV epidemic.
