The objectives of this program are: To detect 12,137 cases of TB by 2018.. To diagnose and treat 181 cases of MDR-TB between 2015 and 2018.. To increase the demand for TB care and treatment.. To strengthen the program’s capacities.. To strengthen the program’s M&E system and promote research.. To successfully treat at least 85 percent of new bacteriologically confirmed TB cases by 2018. To test at least 90 percent of notified TB cases for HIV and ensure a treatment success rate of 80 percent of TB/HIV co-infected patients by 2018.
