Increase the number of districts in the pre-elimination phase from 3 to 64 by 2022.. Increase the number of districts in the elimination phase from 5 to 13 by 2022.. The objectives of this program are: Protect at least 90 percent of the population in the target areas by means of indoor residual spraying campaigns (IRSCs) and long-lasting insecticidal nets (LLINs).. Protect at least 80 percent of pregnant women by means of isoniazid preventive therapy in accordance with national guidelines.. Diagnose at least 95 percent of suspected malaria cases using rapid diagnostic tests (RDTs) or thick smear tests in accordance with national guidelines.. Treat at least 95 percent of confirmed malaria cases in accordance with national guidelines.. Encourage at least 80 percent of the population to adopt behaviors that support malaria prevention and treatment.. Ensure the promptness and completeness of reporting from all health care facilities remains at a minimum of 90 percent. The objectives of this program are: Ensure that at least 80% of the targeted population adopts effective behaviours for prevention and control of malaria. Ensure the correct management of at least 80% of malaria cases at different levels of the health system, including the private sector. Protect at least 90 % of the population of targeted areas with effective malaria prevention measures, including insecticide-treated nets and indoor residual spraying. Reach at least 80% of pregnant women in targeted areas with intermittent preventive treatment for malaria in accordance with the national policy of at least 3 doses.
