47045-JOR-607-G03-H-2 The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria With less than 0.1 percent, HIV prevalence in Jordan is low with less than 1,000 people in the country living with the disease. The main objective of the program supported by this grant is to scale up prevention and care across the country and to better understand the vulnerabilities of most at risk populations. Program targets include maintaining a low HIV prevalence rate by providing proper care and treatment, and reducing the impact of HIV and AIDS on those people living with the disease and their families. In addition, the program aims to strengthen the role of civil society organizations through capacity building, advocacy and awareness programs.
