<narrative xml:lang="en">Investing for impact to end Tuberculosis and HIV - Ghana (01-Jan-2021-31-Dec-2023)</narrative> Ghana, TB/HIV, Christian Health Association of Ghana (CHAG)This program has the following goals: To reduce TB incidence by 25% from 148 in 2018 to 111 per 100,000 population by 2025. To reduce by 35% the 2018 TB mortality rate baseline of 52 deaths per 100,000 population by 2025. To reduce the proportion of TB-affected families who suffer catastrophic cost due to TB from 64% in 2016 to 0% in 2025. To achieve HIV epidemic control and the fast track treatment targets of 90-90-90 by 2023. To reduce new HIV infections by 42% by 2023. The objectives of this program are: To early screen, detect and enrol into treatment 90% of estimated all forms of TB, i.e increase treatment coverage from 33% in 2019 to 90% by 2025. To early detect and enrol into treatment 90% of estimated RR/MDR TB cases among new and previously treated cases by 2025. To attain higher treatment success for all forms of TB from 85% in 2018 to at least 90% by 2025 through improved quality clinical care and community TB care and to attain high treatment success rate of RR TB and/or MDR-TB from 64% in 2017 to 90% by 2025. To provide latent TB treatment or TB preventive Treatment (TPT) to TB contacts and for PLHIV without active TB. To increase the estimated PLHIV who know their status from 58% in 2019 to 90% by 2023.. To increase the % of people newly diagnosed with HIV initiated on ART from 81% in 2019 to 95% in 2023. To increase the % of HIV-positive women who received ART during pregnancy and/or labour and delivery from 75% in 2019 to 95% in 2023. To increase the % of HIV-exposed infants receiving a virological test for HIV within 2 months of birth from 65% in 2019 to 90% in 2023. To increase the % of PLHIV on ART who initiated TB preventive therapy among those eligible during the reporting period to 49% in 2023. To increase the % of clients on ART who are virally suppressed from 68% in 2019 to 90% by 2023.
