47045-GAB-T-MSPS-1 The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria <narrative xml:lang="en">Investing for impact against tuberculosis - Gabon (01-Jan-2016-31-Dec-2018)</narrative> Gabon, Tuberculosis, Ministry of Health of the Gabonese Republic (MoH)This program has the following goals: By 2018, contribute to reducing TB morbidity and mortality among the Gabonese population. The objectives of this program are: Improve management and coordination capacity of NTP staff at all levels of health pyramid, including the capacity to ensure a good quality M&E. Improve the number of TB cases notification all forms (new cases and relapse) from 5 608 in 2014 to 9 144 cas in 2018 in the general population inlcuding the key populations. Increase the treatment success rate in new TB cases bacteriologically confirmed from 57% to 85 % thanks to improvement in quality monitoring and care to patients on treatment. Provide diagnostic to at least 10 % of MDR-TB expected cases and treat 100% of confirmed cases.
