<narrative xml:lang="en">To attain and sustain HIV epidemic control by 2027, by reducing new HIV infections and AIDS mortality - Ethiopia (01-Jul-2024-30-Jun-2027)</narrative> Ethiopia, HIV, Federal Ministry of Health of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FMOH)This program has the following goals: Attain HIV epidemic control nationally by 2027, by reducing new HIV infections and AIDS mortality to less than 1 per 10,000 population. The objectives of this program are: To reach 95% of Key and Priority populations with targeted combination HIV prevention interventions by 2027. To attain Triple elimination of MTCT of HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B Virus by 2027. To enhance HIV case finding to attain 95% of PLHIV knowing their HIV status and linked to care by 2027. To attain 95% treatment coverage among PLHIV who know their status and 95% of those on ART to achieve viral suppression across all populations groups and geographic areas. To reduce Stigma and discrimination and gender-based violence from 25% and 33% to <10% by 2027. To enhance generation and utilization of Strategic Information for an accelerated evidence-based response. To ensure that there are resilient and sustainable systems for health and effective HIV response
