Specifically, HIV infection is higher among sex workers and truck drivers as well as in urban areas. The goal of the Program is to reduce HIV transmission, illness, mortality and impact through improved access to quality services with comprehensive programs that will support at least 85% of those who need to be on antiretroviral therapy (ART) by 2016. The Program will target people infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS, including orphans and vulnerable children (OVCs); most at-risk populations, including women, female sex workers, truck drivers, etc.; general population; and youth.
