The objectives of this program are: Improve the managerial capacities of the NTLP. Increase the TB case notification rate from 17 cases/100,000 inhabitants in 2012 to 23 cases/100,000 in 2019. Maintain the treatment success rate for TB patients at > 90 percent by focusing on directly observed treatment and decentralizing it to outlying health centers. Promote operational research in order to base the NTLP’s activities on greater evidence. Provide case management of > 95 percent of TB/HIV+ by testing for HIV among more than 95 percent of TB patients and screening for TB among all PLHIV, as well as treatment (CPT, ART) for TB/HIV.
