<narrative xml:lang="en">Project to support the treatment of HIV and tuberculosis in Congo - Congo (01-Jan-2018-31-Dec-2020)</narrative> Congo, TB/HIV, La Croix-Rouge française (CRF)This program has the following goals: Reduce HIV and AIDS-related mortality by reducing the number of new infections in key populations and the general population and by reducing mother-to-child transmission of HIV (MTCT). Help improve the health of the population of the Congo by reducing the burden of tuberculosis by 2025. The objectives of this program are: At least 50% of the population aged 15-49 have safer sexual behaviors and practices by the end of 2020. At least 90% of the key populations most exposed to HIV (sex workers, prisonners, men who have sex with men) have safer sexual behaviors and practices by the end of 2020;. At least 81% of identified at-risk and vulnerable populations benefit from testing and treatment service package. At least 95% of HIV-positive pregnant women benefit from a service package (prevention, antiretroviral therapy [ART], care, support) to reduce MTCT and increase maternal survival rates. At least 81% of adults and 81% of children living with HIV receive good medical, psychological, social, nutritional and legal care by the end of 2020. At least 90% of TB contacts have a screening and treatment service package. At least 85% of TB cases are successfully treated, all notified cases and transfers are evaluated at the conclusion of treatment. At least 75% of multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB) cases are successfully treated. 100% of co-infected TB/HIV patients benefit from the package of activities (screening and treatment). The national monitoring and evaluation system is operational and generates reliable strategic information at all levels to guide interventions. The coordinating bodies at all levels (central, decentralized and sectoral) are operational and demonstrate effective leadership
