<narrative xml:lang="en">Strengthening of HIV and tuberculosis (“TB”) national systems of prevention, treatment, care and support in the Republic of Belarus - Phase 2 - Belarus (01-Nov-2022-31-Dec-2024)</narrative> Belarus, TB/HIV, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Belarus)This program has the following goals: To support Belarus in implementing the updated national TB and HIV strategies for the period of 2021-2025 in order to decrease the burden and suffering caused by HIV infection and TB, to improve enabling environment and systems that are people-centered for effective and sustainable response to HIV and TB challenges in the country.. The objectives of this program are: Close the gap in achieving 95-95-95 targets: increase early HIV detection, rapid initiation of ART and improve quality of care. Reduce new HIV transmissions. Improve access to early diagnostics, including WHO-recommended rapid diagnostic methods. Improve treatment outcomes through expanding access to WHO-recommended MDR TB treatment regimens and adherence support. Expand coverage with TB preventive treatment in all key groups. Zero discrimination and remove human rights and gender barriers. Leverage health and community system resources to sustain delivery of high coverage, quality HIV and TB services
