The principal goal of the program supported by this grant is to prevent HIV transmission and reduce the socio-economic impact of the HIV epidemic in Angola. The program aims to achieve its goals through the implementation an integrated approach targeted at multiple sectors that reinforces and extends existing efforts in HIV prevention, treatment and surveillance while increasing institutional capacity, mobilizing and supporting people living with HIV and AIDS, coordinating partners and monitoring the distribution and use of resources.
