Afghanistan, Malaria, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP Afghanistan)This program has the following goals: To ensure that Afghanistan is on track to eliminate malaria by 2030 – contributing towards country development and the Sustainable Development Goals. The objectives of this program are: Reducing the reported malaria incidence by 73% at the national level compared with 2016. Interrupting indigenous transmission of malaria in 23 Provinces (Badghis, Baghlan, Farah, Ghor, Hirat, Jawzjan, Kabul, Kunduz, Nimroz, Parwan, Samangan, Balkh, Bamyan, Dykundi, Kapisa, Panjsher, Sar-e-Pul, Takhar, Urozgan, Badakhshan, Faryab, Logar and Zabul) by 2022. Preventing the re-establishment of local malaria transmission due to importation in all areas where it has been eliminated
